How can I receive online payments if I am outside USA?

If you want to accept online payment and you are outside the US you can still do it by linking your Stripe account. Stripe is a secure online payment processor that will let you accept card payments from your tenants.

The Stripe payment process is simple:

  • Payment - you take payment from the customer.
  • Processing - Stripe holds the payment for 2 - 7 days, depending on your country.
  • Transfer - Stripe transfers payments directly to your nominated bank account, minus the transaction fees.

Please note! 
Stripe takes a fee on each payment. It is 2.9% plus 30 cents per successful card charge to accept card payments online. It does not charge monthly or annual fees.

Stripe supports processing payments in 135+ currencies, allowing you to charge customers in their native currency while receiving funds in yours. Please note that the additional fee of +1.5% for international cards and +1% if currency conversion is required.

Link your Stripe Account

To start accepting card payments from your tenants, you will want to set up a Stripe account if you don’t have it. In order to set up your Stripe account, please click on your profile picture, select the Settings option. Click on “Configurations“ in the “Online payments” section:

If you don't have a Stripe account, you will have to create it first:

If you already have a Stripe account, log in to your existing Stripe account, go to settings and copy the Live Secret Key and the Live Publishable Key and paste them to the Secret API Key and the Public API Key fields correspondingly in your profile and click the "Set up" button:

If you decide to stop accepting card payments within our software, you may simply disable Stripe in your user account. In order to deactivate your Stripe account, go to Settings and click on “Configurations“ in the “Online payments” section:

Click View settings. Now, press the Deactivate button. Also, you can Delete Stripe settings:
