Can I find a Service Pro within the system if I already assigned a Service Pro from my contacts list?

Landlords always have the option to change an assignee to a maintenance request. If you’ve already assigned a Service Pro from your Contacts to a certain request, follow these steps to assign a different professional:
 

If the connected Service Pro is assigned:

Cancel the maintenance request by changing its status (An email will be sent to the current assignee informing them of this action);

Select edit from the “Actions“ menu and remove the current assignee on the “Assignee & Materials“ step and save changes;


Don’t forget to change the status of maintenance request to “New“.

Click the “Find a Service Pro” button in the Service Pros Near You section.


 

If not connected Service Pro is assigned:

  • Open the “details” of a needed request;
  • Click Actions → Edit;
  • Remove the assignee on the “Assignee and Materials” step and save changes.
  • Make sure the request status is “new“ and set it like this if needed.
  • Click the “Find a Service Pro” button in the Service Pros Near You section.
     

Please note! 
You can post a bid to find a new Service Pro for a maintenance request only when the request is set at “new” status.
