How do I pass the Identity Verification?

Tenant screening is a process used primarily by residential landlords and property managers to evaluate prospective tenants. The purpose is to assess the likelihood the tenant will fulfill the terms of the lease or rental agreement and will also take great care of the rental property in question.

Landlords/ Property Managers can pay for the screening fee or request a payment from the potential tenant. You will need to click on the "Pay for screening" button on your Dashboard page:

If the landlord has paid for the screening report, you will need to go to Feed Notifications and click "Approve request" by acknowledging the Terms of Agreement and pressing Continue:

In case you are responsible for the payment, click "Pay for screening" and accept the Terms of Agreement by pressing "Pay and Submit". Fill out your personal information, enter the credit card number, and click "Submit payment":

In both scenarios, you will need to verify your identity by answering the questions that are based on your credit profile. You have 5 minutes before the session expires and a total of 7 attempts. This does not only include failures but also includes passes and unanswered/abandoned exams. Each time an exam is pulled, it counts as an attempt regardless of the outcome of that exam.

Once your identity is verified, then the report can be requested and generated:
