Online payments report

To access Online payment report, open the Reports page from the left-side menu. Here you can find the respective card in the Rental / Financial / Calculators section (if the “swimlane by type” is enabled) and will be able to mark a report as a favorite to move it to the top of the section.

The Online payments report tracks all transactions that were paid online. It lists all payments registered with our payment system. 

Please note! 
The report is not shared with the owner by default. To enable sharing, the property manager needs to change the configuration in the owner's profile.

Filters
When viewing the Online payments report, you can adjust the following criteria:

  1. Date range
    Use the pre-set date range options, including the current month, previous month, last 30 days, last 3 months, previous quarter, last 12 months, previous year, and current year. You can also set a custom range by choosing a start and end date.
  2. Property & Units
    You can filter transactions by property and units. You may also select several properties and units at once.
  3. Category & sub-category
    The system will generate a report using all categories if you have not selected any category from the dropdown menu. If a category has been selected, you can choose a sub-category as well.
  4. Grouping
    Additionally, you can choose whether to group the report by payer/payee, property or category for a better view.



Columns
You can personalize your report by selecting the columns you want to be displayed on your report.



Preview the report

Once you open the report, you will see the preview of the report right away. You can adjust the information you want to be included and then download the report. A horizontal scroll bar allows to scroll the content of a report table to the left or right. If you're using a mouse, hold SHIFT and use the scroll wheel to scroll horizontally or simply press and hold the mouse wheel to scroll.

Downloading the report

Click on the "download" button to generate the Online payments report. The report is generated into one file, and you can download it as an Excel or PDF file. The "download report" button will be inactive if there is no information on the chosen criteria or you have no properties added.



Please note!
If the file is very large, it will be compressed into a zip file which you will need to unzip.

What categories does this report include?
This report includes all types of payment categories, including general income/expense, property income/expense, liability, management fees, and tenant charges & fees.

Please note!
If the report is automatically shared with the assigned owner(s), they will see only those Tenant Charges & Fees transactions that were marked as visible to the owner(s) of that property.

If you are using Property Management Mode, the Management Fee category is considered as an expense for the property manager and owner. 

Included Statuses:
-paid
-partially paid
-pending
-failed

Not included statuses:
-unpaid
-void
-waived
-canceled

Transactions of all lease statuses (active, past, ended, future, signature/insurance pending) except leases in draft status will be included in the Online Payments.
