There are four pages to view outstanding and overdue invoices of your tenants:
Transactions/Revenues page
Balances page
Dashboard widgets
Tenants page
Transaction/Revenues page
To take a look at open and overdue invoices of your tenants, go to the Transactions or Revenues page -> Invoices tab from the left side menu of your dashboard. There, you can view the total sum of an outstanding balance, as well as paid and overdue invoices.
Outstanding invoices show the total income from all your tenants, including open statuses (unpaid invoices that are due, but for which the grace period has not yet passed), overdue statuses (unpaid invoices that are unpaid past the due date and grace period), and partially unpaid statuses.
Outstanding invoices include general income, property income, and liability transactions.
You can also use quick filters per the invoice statuses: All, Open, Partial, Overdue, and Void.
You can also filter invoices and save the selected options for future usage:
Balances page
The Balances tab from the Renters page provides an overview of tenant balances and income tracking. The page is separated into two groups:
Property Income – balances are calculated per lease, including roommate balances with split invoicing.
General Income – balances are calculated per tenant based on their general income invoices.
You may click the down arrow to sort the opposite way and show the smallest balances from the top:
You may also apply Period, Property&Units, Tenant type, Client, Lease status, and Transaction status filters to track outstanding balances more efficiently.
You may change the general view of the page. By default, balances are shown in the compacted view, but you may use the “expanded view” option if desired and enable/disable swimlane per property.
Balances include general income, property income, and liability transactions with the following statuses: open, overdue, and partially unpaid:
You may send a notice to a tenant with an active lease and email address on file. Additionally, you may apply credits or deposits if applicable, towards unpaid invoices from the three dots action.
You may download the CSV for easier reporting:
Overdue invoices widget
The Overdue Invoices widget from your dashboard shows the statistics about overdue invoices for the period of the last 30 days from today.
