Once you've reviewed and matched each transaction from your bank statement with the records in the system, your accounts should be balanced. However, if you need to correct or exclude a transaction, you can either unmatch or ignore it. To do so, open the Reconciliation page from the Filancials section of the left-side menu and select the needed bank account.
Unmatch a transaction
Use this option if a transaction was reconciled by mistake or needs to be removed due to an error.
Find the needed transaction on the Matched or All tab and select Unmatch from the three-dots menu.
Note! You can unmatch one transaction at a time, and these changes will unbalance your accounts. Be sure to review your opening, beginning, and ending balances before proceeding.
Ignore a transaction
Use this option for transactions that shouldn’t be tracked - like personal expenses or unrelated deposits.
Find the needed transaction and click Ignore from the three-dots menu next to it.
Note! Ignored transactions will not be calculated in the statement balance.
You can reverse this at any time from the Ignored or All tab by selecting the Unignore option.
