A Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) error occurs when a tenant tries to make an ACH payment, but there isn’t enough money in their bank account to cover it. When this happens, the payment fails, and an NSF fee is applied.
A $15 NSF fee will be added to the tenant’s outstanding balance for each failed payment due to insufficient funds.
