Can I request a screening from an applicant after they submitted an application?

Yes, you can request a screening report from an applicant. If you want the applicant to purchase a screening report before moving them in, you need to select the "Applicant" option in order to make the tenant responsible for the payment, fill in the required information, and send the screening request.

You are welcome to select one of the following screening reports:

Basic Background Check (30$) which covers:

Instant State Data

National Criminal Search

National Sex Offender Data

OFAC/Most Wanted Searches

Basic Full Check (39$) which covers:

Bankruptcies Search

Full Credit Report with Resident Score

Instant State Data

National Criminal Search

National Sex Offender Data

OFAC/Most Wanted Searches

SSN Verification/Address History

Credit Check (30$) which covers:

Bankruptcies Search

Full Credit Report with Resident Score

SSN Verification/Address History

When selecting any Basic Check report you’ll able to get more information about the applicant with the in-depth County Criminal Records Search that you can add to the screening package:

Essential ($15.00) includes one real-time county criminal search in the county the applicant currently resides in.

Premium ($25.00) includes an unlimited county search in real-time in every county the applicant has ever resided in.

Please note!
With the Income Insights report you’ll be informed when the income information provided by rental applicants doesn’t match the income information reported with their screening.

The applicant will receive an email and will need to create an account (if they don't already have one) or login to their existing account, fill in the form and verify their identity. The screening report will be shown under the Rental Application for that applicant. It is available for 30 days for the landlord and applicant.
