Tenant Screening Report Overview

The Tenant Screening Report helps you easily track all screening reports purchased during the rental application process. You can filter the report by:

  • Listing

  • Screening provider

  • Screening status

  • Screening package

Sharing Settings

‼️ By default, this report is not shared with the owner.


If you’d like the owner to have access, the property manager will need to update the sharing settings in the owner's profile.

How to Access the Report

To find the Tenant Screening Report:

  1. Go to the Reports page using the left-side menu.

  2. Look for the report under the Rental section.

    • (If your account uses the “swimlane by type” layout, you’ll see it organized by section type.)

  3. Want quick access? You can mark it as a favorite, and it will appear at the top of the section for easier access next time.


Filter Options in the Tenant Screening Report

When viewing the Tenant Screening Report, you can refine the results using the following filters:

Date

Choose the timeframe for the screening reports you want to review:

  • Set a custom range by selecting a start and end date

  • Or use one of the preset options:

    • All

    • Last Month

    • Last 90 Days

    • This Year

    • Last Quarter

    • Last Year

    • Year to Date

Property & Units

You can filter the report by one or more properties.

  • If you select a multi-unit property, an additional field will appear so you can filter by specific unit number.

Listing Status

Filter reports by listing status—a helpful option when reviewing potential rental candidates tied to a specific listing.

Screening Status

Narrow down results by screening status to focus on completed, pending, or other stages of the screening process.

Customizing Columns in the Tenant Screening Report

You can tailor your report view by choosing which columns you want to include.

How to Customize Columns:

  1. Click the “Columns” button in the upper right corner of the report.

  2. A list of available columns will appear.

  3. Check the boxes next to the columns you'd like to include.

  4. To rearrange the order, simply drag and drop the columns into your preferred layout.

  5. Once you're done, click “Save” to apply your changes.

Please note: You must select at least 3 columns in order to generate the report.



Preview the report

Once you open the report, you will see the preview of the report right away. You can adjust the information you want to be included and then download the report. A horizontal scroll appears when the information exceeds the width of the screen, allowing one to navigate and view all content.

If the report contains many rows, you will see the “Load more” button to click to view more. You can then use the “Back to top” arrow button to return to the top of the page.

If you're using a mouse, hold SHIFT and use the scroll wheel to scroll horizontally, or simply press and hold the mouse wheel to scroll.

Downloading the report

Click the "Download report" button at the top right corner to generate the Tenant screening report. The report is generated into one file, and you can download it as an Excel or PDF file. The "Download report" buttons will be inactive if there is no information on the chosen criteria or if you have no properties added.

If the file is very large, it will be compressed into a zip file which you will need to unzip.
