I am the property manager but why do I see a move-out inspection under my name even though I didn’t request one?
Answer:
We understand how this can be confusing, especially if you didn’t personally request a move-out inspection.
Here’s what’s happening:
When a tenant is required to complete a move-in inspection and the inspection is completed, the tenant’s inspection status automatically changes from Pending to Ready.
At the same time, a move-out inspection is automatically created under the property manager or landlord’s name.
If you don’t need this move-out inspection, you can easily remove it by following these steps:
Go to the Inspection tab.
Locate the move-out inspection listed under your name.
Click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner.
Select Delete.
5. A Move-out Inspection confirmation window will appear.
6. Click Yes, I’m sure to confirm the deletion.
