Updating a Team Member’s Email Address

  1. Navigate to Settings in your TenantCloud dashboard.

  2. Select Team Management and then click on Roles & Permissions.

  3. Locate the team member whose email address you want to change. Click on the three dots (options menu) next to their name and choose Edit.

  4. Update the email address as needed and save your changes.

Resolving Common Email Assignment Issues

When attempting to assign an email address to a team member, you might encounter errors if the email is already in use by another account type. Below are the steps to resolve these issues:

1. Email Registered as a Tenant Account

If the email address is already tied to a TenantCloud tenant account, you cannot use it for a team member. To resolve this:

  • Ask the owner of the conflicting tenant account to log in and delete the account associated with the email.

  • Once the tenant account is deleted, you can assign the email to your team member.

2. Email Registered as a ServicePro Account

Emails linked to a ServicePro account also cannot be used for team members. To fix this:

  • Work with the owner of the ServicePro account to either remove the account or update its email address to a different one.

  • Once the email is released, you may proceed to use it for the team member role in TenantCloud.
