If you choose to pay for a screening report, a temporary hold will be placed on your card for the cost of the screening package you selected, and you will only be charged for successfully completed screening reports.
This temporary hold is different from an actual charge and will be automatically released if the screening process does not result in an available report. Authorization holds are temporary and usually appear as pending transactions. This ensures transparency and avoids unnecessary charges.
An applicant will have 3 days to accept the screening request and pass the identity verification. If an applicant fails to pass the identity verification or refuses to complete the process, your credit card won't be charged, and the funds will be returned to you in 3-7 days.
The identity verification process ensures the authenticity of the applicant's information, which is vital for generating a reliable screening report. After an applicant completes all required steps, the screening will appear as "Available" on your end.
If you cancel the screening request, further, you may submit a new one if required. The applicants won't be charged for any cancelled requests as well.
